STARTING THE CAREER PATH ABROAD

Hi, I am Arman. I am studying chemical and process engineering at Aalto University, and I will finish my master’s degree in less than one year. I had the opportunity to join ANDRITZ as a trainee in May 2023. After the summer I continued my ANDRITZ journey as a thesis worker.

During the summer I was assigned various research and development project tasks based on my background, strengths, and the organization needs. These tasks were for example process trouble shooting, data analysis, and equipment operation in customer plant. I was able to develop my skills in most of the assigned tasks. My team members supported me by arranging process trainings and one-on-ones with me. I was also able to ask for help whenever I needed it.

The highlight of my ANDRITZ summer was getting to know the experts in my field and learning from them. I started my master’s studies in Finland about a year ago. This was the first job for me in Finland. I am glad I was able to start my new career path abroad at ANDRITZ.
