© ANDRITZPaper machine clothing is mainly made of PET, which has been generally burned after use to generate energy in power plants or used for other purposes such as barriers under roads and pathways or fence edgings. However, these methods of disposing are considered borderline when it comes to the ecology.
Therefore, ANDRITZ has been working closely with institutions to cover the complete value chain from the production of materials for paper machine clothing to the manufacturing, logistics of waste collection and the sorting and reprocessing of the materials involved.
