Customer Day Indonesia 2019
One more outstanding hydropower event
The Customer Day Indonesia 2019 took place on March 15, 2019 in Jakarta, Indonesia. More than 180 experts from governmental institutions, hydropower plant operators and private investors participated.
The event was opened by a traditional Indonesian dance performance and a welcome speech of Mr. Josef Ullmer, President Director of PT. ANDRITZ HYDRO. Special keynotes were given by Mrs. Helene Steinhaeusl (Ambassador of the Austrian Embassy to Indonesia), Mr. Harris S.T., M.T. (Director of Various New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Indonesia), and Mr. Michael Lederer (Attaché for Transport, Innovation and Technology to the Austrian Embassy to Indonesia).
This year the presentations addressed more the small and mini hydropower market including some dedicated product highlights for Compact generators and “Large Compact” approaches. To cover general requests and needs of the market, special papers for operation and maintenance, low head applications, and pumped storage solutions were also presented. Apart from the interesting technical presentations, this day offered ample opportunities for an intensive information exchange among all participants.
The Customer Day Indonesia is becoming more and more one of the most important hydropower event in Indonesia and underlines our leading position in the local hydropower market. We say thank you to the team, who contributed to realize this successful event and are already looking forward to the next Customer Day Indonesia in 2020.
