Technical Sales (Pulp & Paper Equipment Business or Hydropower Equipment Business)

This is a specialized sales role that requires an understanding of the technical value of our products and services with the ability to propose solutions to meet customer needs.  

Beyond simple sales, you will be expected to combine technical expertise with sales skills to build strong, trust-based relationships with customers.

As the manufacturing bases for the equipment and machinery you will handle are located overseas, English is used in daily operations. 

 

Ideal Candidate Profile 

 

1.)  Ability to understand customer needs and propose feasible solutions  

  • Someone who can approach assigned tasks proactively, think independently, and work with dedication

2.)  Ability to build strong relationships not only domestic but also with overseas employees within the ANDRITZ Group    

Specifically:  

  • Someone who is comfortable using English and open to work in an international, multicultural environment  
  • Someone who aspires to work globally in the future 

 

Qualifications

 

Education:

Completion of a technical college (KOSEN) or higher educational institution

 

Work Experience:

Required 

 

Industry Experience:

Not required in heavy industry 

 

English Proficiency:

Basic level or above (English will be used when communicating with overseas departments regarding equipment and machinery specifications)

 

Required Experience, Abilities, and Skills:

Applicants must have majored in an Engineering field

 

[Preferred]

1. Knowledge of Mechanical and / or Electrical Engineering  

2. Experience in maintenance, design, or related work in the plant industry 

Compensation & Benefits 
 

Work Location: Tokyo  

Starting Salary:  The offer will be made based on your previous work experiences 

Allowances: Commuting allowance; professional certification allowance  

Salary Increase: Once per year (April)  

Bonus: Twice per year (summer and winter)  

Working Hours: 9:00–17:30 (Lunch break 12:00–13:00)  

Flexible working hours system with core time from 10:00 to 16:00   

Holidays: Saturday and Sunday, Public holidays,  

Year-end and New Year holidays, Golden Week, Summer holidays,  

Annual paid leaves, and special leaves   

Insurance: Full social insurance coverage    

  • National pension, Health insurance, Employment insurance, and Compensation insurance  

Benefits & Programs:  

  • DC and retirement allowance, English training, cross-cultural training, and support for professional certifications  

Post-Joining Support:  

Training will be provided by senior employees.  

Employees who have joined in recent years have developed their skills through such training and on-the-job training (OJT).

Training Program:  

The following training programs are provided upon joining:  

1) Business etiquette training  

2) IT training  

3) Communication training  

4) Compliance training  

5) English training  

 

Ongoing development programs, including training for junior and mid-level employees, are also provided in stages.
