ANDRITZ to supply equipment for Fibria’s Horizonte 2 pulp mill at its Três Lagoas unit in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil

Start-up is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2017. The scope of supply covers the EPC delivery of all process islands of pulp mill including wood chip yard, fiber line (cooking, washing and bleaching), drying machine, recovery boiler, evaporation and causticizing processes and lime kiln.

The new production line will have an annual pulp production capacity of 1.75 million tons. Combined with its existing capacity, already in operation, the Três Lagoas unit will reach a total annual production capacity of 3 million tons, making it one of the world’s largest eucalyptus pulp production sites.
