EFFIC – Fabric filter controller

EFFIC is a word-class, state of the art, fabric filter controller which reduces costs and improves the overall performance of the existing flue-gas cleaning system. EFFIC has been updated with improved software features and hardware that will make this controller even more powerful.

What is an EFFIC?

EFFIC is a controller for Pulse Jet valves and provides an intelligent fabric filter control and replaces the traditional method of pulsing the valves at a set time interval or at a set pressure drop.

EFFIC is a powerful and cost-effective tool designed for installation on new fabric filters or for replacement and modernization of control systems on existing units.

Advanced Features:

• Modulated pulsing improves dust filtration and reduces bag wear

• Filter drag control maximizes collection efficiency and avoids costly overdosing

• Bag status monitoring allows online monitoring and makes it possible to detect deteriorating bags

• Valve fault detection localizes any mechanically or electrically faulty pulse valves

Lowered pressure drop spread (1400 Pa/ 5,6 WCI to 1300 Pa/ 5,2 WCI) can save up to 7% of the energy costs of the ID fan during the period of one year
25% extended bag life can be achieved with the condition based maintenance and monitoring
Emission peaks can be reduced up to 50% with EFFIC optimized into pulse energy
EFFIC’s ability to detect the deteriorating bags before their failure reduces the time-consuming work needed to detect the already broken bags.
