"Playing Tetris"

Integrating the new TMP line into Skogn’s existing hall was a major challenge. ANDRITZ redesigned and manufactured connections to fit refiners onto old foundations and adapted equipment to work within tight spaces. As the team described, it was “like playing Tetris” to make everything fit — requiring creative solutions, custom adaptors, and precise engineering under a demanding schedule.

“It was a bit like playing Tetris, to make sure it all fit! We had to modify some pressurized equipment.”

Director HC Refining Systems, ANDRITZ
