In September 2007, the new ANDRITZ AG in-house kindergarten opened its doors for the children of our employees in Graz. With this facility, the company wishes to offer flexible child care and, in particular, to help women reconcile family and career.
The kindergarten is available to children from the age of 18 months up to school age. Registration forms are available in all secretarial departments, from the Works Council, and at the ANDRITZ AG reception desk, but can also be obtained directly from the WIKI organization which runs the kindergarten.
Training and further education
Personal vocational training and development are closely linked to employees’ job satisfaction and commitment. This is why we offer a broad spectrum of personal and vocational training courses in the following sectors:

The ANDRITZ AG sports association was established back in 1949. Over the years, sub-groups have been formed for the following sports:
The groups are coached and headed by employees with an interest in the respective sports. Various events, trips and friendly competitions are in the interests of our employees' health, as well as giving employees from different departments the opportunity to get to know one another in an informal atmosphere.
The ANDRITZ AG canteen offers excellent low-cost meals and snacks for the company’s employees.
We have a special service for the benefit of our staff: If needed and depending on availability, housing accommodation can be offered in the vicinity of the ANDRITZ AG plant and offices.
