The location in Linz offers complete electromechanical solutions achieving performance levels guaranteed by its internal developments and broadly experienced technical staff, supported by its own hydraulic laboratories and in-house manufacture of major components.
Large Hydro
The ANDRITZ Hydro Large Hydro Division offers the entire range of electromechanical equipment for large new installations. This core competence – the ability to provide all products and services from a single source – is based on state-of-the-art proprietary technology developed in our own hydraulic laboratories, as well as on the fact that core components are manufactured in our own workshops. In fact, the ANDRITZ Large Hydro portfolio ranges from project design, engineering, model testing, purchasing, manufacturing, and installation, to project management.
Modernization and Renewal
The ANDRITZ Hydro Service Division is specialized in the optimization of existing operations and maintenance of hydropower equipment. Hydro Service helps customers to reach their objectives – maximize energy production yield, increase competitiveness, and generate sustainable value.
We provide individual solutions to meet customers’ technical, economical, and legal requirements. ANDRITZ Hydro’s services include supply of components and spare parts, complete automation packages, installation services, short-term repairs and modifications, inspections and overhauls, residual life analysis, risk assessment, feasibility studies, training, rehabilitation, modernization, and upgrades.
Compact Hydro
The ANDRITZ Hydro Compact Hydro Division offers complete solutions (“water to wire”) for electromechanical equipment, covering the entire production line and service spectrum for small and medium-sized hydroelectric power plants with unit outputs up to 30 MW. The Compact Hydro Division has developed special product concepts leading to maximum efficiency, shorter installation periods, shorter delivery times, and optimized compact power house dimensions. ANDRITZ hydroelectric power plants up to 30 MW are thus particularly economical in operation.
